I'm JR.
I'm a Bay Area wedding and portrait photographer. I'll guide you and set up shots whenever it helps, but my goal is always to make you feel completely at ease so your truest self comes through.
Beyond digital, I also shoot film and offer Super 8 and vintage Handycam video as an add-on for couples and brands looking for that nostalgic aesthetic you can't replicate with a digital camera.
Why I do this
I really love working with people and I'm passionate about capturing their special moments.
There's so much joy in getting to know couples and families throughout a shoot, hearing their stories, and then handing them back photos they can hold onto and cherish forever.
