Family sessions move fast, especially with little ones, so I keep things simple: we pick a spot that's easy to get in and out of, I work around naps and meltdowns instead of fighting them, and I aim for the real moments, the four-year-old mid-sprint, the baby staring down a dog, instead of forcing everyone to say cheese. I'll guide you when it helps, but the goal is always photos that actually look like your family.

San Francisco has more easy, kid-friendly photo spots than people realize: open lawns, short walks, real parking. The goal isn't a landmark tour that wears everyone out an hour in, it's a spot where your kids can actually be kids and the photos still look great.

- Dolores Park. Easy access, skyline backdrop, room for kids to move.

- Golden Gate Park. Conservatory of Flowers and the Japanese Tea Garden for color and shade.

Families of all ages, from newborns through teens.
How long is a family session?
Long enough to get real photos, short enough that nobody melts down. and I'll walk through what makes sense for your family.
What if my kid won't cooperate?
That's normal, and expected. I build slack into the session for it, and some of the best photos come out of the moments that don't go as planned.
How much does a family session cost?
Every session is quoted based on what you're envisioning, so I don't publish flat rates. Send an inquiry and I'll get you a real number fast.
Can we shoot somewhere outside San Francisco?
Yes, at no extra cost. Marin Headlands, Napa, and the Peninsula are all common choices.
